Starting from a personal consciousness and unconsciousness I search for the relationship between the observer and the one who is being observed. I use tools such as photography and video to visualize this searching process, mainly because both the medium of photography and the medium of video inherently carry in themselves the idea of the one who is looking and the one who is being looked at.

I generally put myself in both positions: behind and in front of the camera. I am the subject of my work, as well as I am the observer. I make use of the double function of the camera that is simultaneously the mirror and observer. In between these two gazes I adjust my body, which is stuck between both gazes of control. My body tries to imitate a prescripted choreography, in which each pose or each freezed movement gets stuck in time. It is only between these framed poses that the true narcissism shows itself. It is the moment where the body wants to be looked at, but only in the way the eyes of the model agrees with.
